Before the Resource Hub became what it is, organizations throughout the community of Milwaukee kept noticing an unfortunate pattern of not enough personal care and basic necessity items for populations in need. Some organizations had an abundance of resources, some had none, and others had items that were expiring.
With the need for an efficient way to provide basic items to victims of trafficking, we created the MKE Resource Hub. With over thirteen collaborators including CRAY, Collaborative Rapid Advocacy for Youth, this program provides personal care supplies for victims of trafficking and individuals at high risk.
Victims and high-risk youth are given tangible ways to make their own decisions, which is essential for physical and emotional healing.
Collaborative Partners of CRAY and the MKE Resource Hub are:
The organizations who will be benefiting from this pool of resources will be able to personalize backpacks filled with personal need and self care items for the populations they work with. Paired with the driving force of the community donating items, volunteering time, and spreading the word, the program will make the maximum impact.
Accepted Donations
All Items Must Be Store Bought and New This is important because aftercare is about healing human dignity. The populations who are being served through the Resource Hub are not second best and the items being provided shouldn't be either.
Victims, survivors, and at-risk youth who will benefiting from the Resource Hub are males, females, boys, girls, and non-binary.

Full size and travel size items are accepted, unless otherwise noted. Please, no items from hotels. Our current biggest item needs are highlighted in bold.
We are no longer accepting clothing items directly, instead we're providing gift cards when clothing needs arise; giving people to power to choose their own clothing is a tangible way to restore dignity.
